I have had some interesting observations today here in Aberdeen. A partial albino (I can never remember the right word) American Crow hanging out near the mall. He has white on the wings making it look almost like wing bars. Also about half of the tail feathers are white.

I just finished lunch and I observed a large 3rd year Gull that appeared to have his tongue growing out from a whole under his bill. Very odd but he seems healthy. I though it might be a growth or something upon the initial observation but when he swallowed it moved and he was drewling which is something I have never seen a bird do before.
