Hello Tweets,
I'm sorry if this is a banal bird report, but I'm a very new birder so I was
excited to find a pair of band-tailed pigeons in Lincoln Park today. They
were in a cedar tree in the northwestern corner of the park (the upper,
forested area right along the westernmost north/south running pathway). The
little bit of reading that I did when I returned home says that they're
"uncommon" in this area at this time of year, so I thought the sighting
might be of interest to other local birders.
