We were searching for the Hawk Owl on B and 15th when a Subaru passed us.
The Subaru turned around and came back to let us know the the Owl had moved
to C and 16th (the next road to the East and slightly to the North). You
head West from Mansfield on Hwy 172 (14th), turn right (North) on C, go to
the second farmhouse on the left. The No. Hawk Owl was in the trees behind
the farmhouse.

Apparently, the Primitive Road just South of the house is okay, but the area
on either side is private property. The Owl seemed a little leery and we
could see marks in the snow where a previous party(s) had approached fairly
close. Please don't make this great bird move again! We were able to get
good looks from where the snow is piled up on the road but as soon as we got
the owl in our scopes, it flew down and out of sight. We drove by about an
hour later and it was perched up on top of the tallest tree. Magnificent!
