Early last evening a M/F pair of Anna's were having an aerial duel around one of our feeders when both suddenly descended to our deck and landed, facing each other. They sat there for a full two minutes, briefly taking flight then landing again in the same face to face position. About a minute later they flew off in tandem. I've watched my feeders dilligently for six years now and never seen such behavior.
