Tweeters,

Tuesday AM I was at Mt. Erie Summit at 8 AM. Having seen Joel Brady-Powers
post that the WW CROSSBILLSs showed up at 8:50 AM, I thought I should be
there somewhere around an hour early to cover the range of possibilities.
Little did I realize what a tight schedule these critters stick to. At
8:55 I heard crossbill noises, and two WW CROSSBILLS flew into the top of a
tree just off the overlook. One of them, a juvenile male, perched lower and
closer, allowing good looks and decent photos. Five minutes later they were
gone.

Moving on to the Samish Flats, I spotted ROUGH-LEGGED and RED-TAILED HAWKS
and BALD EAGLES along Bayview Edison, but missed on the PRAIRIE FALCON. I
also did not find MERLIN or GYRFALCON in Edison at around 11AM. Another
ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK appeared on a power line along Chuckanut Drive.
