Just to report my first sighting of Short-eared Owls in Snohmish county this year. Had two at Eide Road, near Stanwood and one more just north of Port Susan Nature Conservancy property (also a Northern Shrike there as well).



No luck with w-w Crossbills at Mt Erie first thing this morning.
