Hello group,

I was startled to find what appears to be a a Bi-colored, male House Finch, among a group of ten Reds, near our home and feeders on MI. Bright yellow rump, orange supercilium ?and supraloral with yellow and? orange ?on breast. This bird most closely resembles a yellow variant in Sibleys.?
?I have some photos, but as yet, no photo account. A beautiful bird!

Also, is it common for Varied Thrushes to sometimes ground feed as small groups of 8- 10 in winter?
