Hey tweets, I just opened my Laurelhurst Community Newsletter, only to
read that a mature Bald Eagle was found dead on January 26 on the
Villa Academy grounds. The WSDFW agent who came out to pick up the
carcass believes it might have been electrocuted after colliding with
power lines. It is estimated to have been four years old. I think it
might have been one of the pair of eagles which nests in Laurelhurst -
not Ma and Pa Eagle who nest at Talaris. - Connie, Seattle
