Hello Tweeters...

The last two days, I have seen a rather skiddish bird (more reddish than brown w/ whitish undersides)...spots like a thrush...just not sure if the maps would "allow" a veery to be in this area or if it's more likely a Swainson's or Hermit. The pictures are a bit deceptive. My head tells me hermit...what are you experts out there going to tell me?

I saw my resident Anna's collecting fluff from my Japanese anemone's - but cannot track where she goes. It's that time of year again!

Headed to Tucson in 3 weeks! Then in May we're going to Eastern WA to see the Avocets, etc. and Walla Walla. Any info on great places to stay near birding areas would be most welcome. I have friends in Desert Aire, so only need Palouse/Walla Walla recommendations.

Thanks fellow Tweeters.
