Hi,



Ted Peterson and I went looking for the Gyr this morning. At about 9:30 a.m. another birder (sorry forgot to remember his name) alerted us to the falcon which he had located by the tree farm. We then relocated the bird along Tualco Loop road, near Riley Slough, and saw it fly into a tree. We watched it for a few minutes and then it flew again towards the WDWF parking lot on the north side of Crescent Lake Wildlife area. We saw it briefly in a tree close the parking lot but it quickly moved on.



There were several other birders in the area - but when we left about noon I do not believe it had been seen again.



Also had Wood Duck in the area.



There was a flock of 42 Greater White-front Geese along the Old Monroe Road just south of Snohomish.
