2-23-09 time 1230~1430, tide incoming to high, seas calm, wind 2~5 mph,
cloudy skies, temp 51 degrees

Many species were once again feeding on large schools of forage fish from
200 to 300 meters of the point for 1 hour and thirty minutes. The birds
would rush from one upwelling of the forage fish to the other. The
Rhinoceros Auklet numbers were over 472, I stopped counting them at that
point and watched the yellow-billed Loon for over an hour feed and preen
during the slack tide.
