I spent the day around Edison and Samish Isalnd looking for a
Gyrfalcon. I didn't see one but I did manage to find 3-4 Peregrines, 2
Merlins and at least 1 Prairie Falcon. I first found the Prairie about
1 mile south of the T junction ( I forget the name of this road), but
later saw it or another bird near the east 90 and then soaring over the
west 90. Behind the Old Edison Inn in the town of Edison seems to be a
reliable place for a Merlin, there was one at the top of a tall pine
there most of the day.
