Tweeters,
The YELLOW-BILLED LOON was present in the lake above Chief Joseph Dam near
Bridgeport this morning (I was there around 8-9 AM). It was swimming and
diving with two Common Loons off the Murphy Road access. I have photos is
anyone is interested.
I searched the area along County Road B north of WA-172, where the NORTHERN
HAWK OWL had been seen over the weekend, but was unable to find it late this
morning.
Along the roads between Bridgeport and Waterville, many small flocks of
HORNED LARKS were in the road or adjacent snow covered fields. I
encountered on ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK along WA-172 and another along US-2.
