Dawn,
It sounds like the individuals in your dog yard may be in danger, but
neither species is endangered or threatened. They are both relatively
common and widespread. The western jumping mouse in in the Okanogan.
The pacific jumping mouse is in the East Cascades and over the crest to
the coast.
