We finally spotted the resident Western Scrub-Jays in the Ballard/Phinney area. Yesterday afternoon, while walking the
doggy, we heard and saw a pair up on a telephone wire, then watched as they flew to a nearby shrub. This was on NW
72nd, between 3rd Ave NW and 8th Ave NW.

I guess this is the same pair that's been hanging out in the area for a few years. Nice to finally see them!
