We have a flying squirrel that comes to one of our feeders almost nightly. I
can see the feeder moving from our family room window so I often take a
flashlight to get a good look. As you stated, Ruth, they have flattened tails and
they have very big eyes. I have a feeling that they are more common than
we think since I've talked to other people near us that have them as well.
