Subject: [Tweeters] Hwy 24 Snow Buntings - Yakima County

This afternoon I took a drive east of Yakima on Hwy 24 hoping to find some
winter birds. Remembering a Gyrfalcon I found there 10 years ago, I was
hoping for similar luck. Nonesuch, but I did find a single SNOW BUNTING
amongst the first and only flock of Horned Larks I was able to inspect.
Other large flocks of HOLOs were seen in the distance, but only one flock
was hanging around the road. The snow bunting was seen at mile 24.3.

Also saw four Rough-legged Hawks, four American Kestrels, numerous Ravens,
one Northern Harrier and three Red-tailed Hawks.
