the most recently demystified mystery bird was a Say's Phoebe, Sayornis saya, which roughly half of the readers identified correctly. Rick's analysis for identifying this species can be read here;

here's a video of a golden eagle with a very unusual hunting strategy where she pulls goats off the side of cliffs so they fall to their deaths. i have never heard of such a strategy before, have you?
