I checked Borst Park and the Goodrich pond twice today, once in the morning and then again in the late afternoon. Also I checked Stan Hedwall Park and the surrounding fields in the morning as well.
At Stan Hedwall Park, I found my usual Fox Sparrows (5) and Wilson's Snipe (2).
Borst Park had some good gulls today. In the am, I had Thayer's Gull (1), Herring Gull (1), Cackler Goose (1) swimming with the Mallards. In the pm, I added Western Gull (2) and Ring-billed Gull (1).
The Goodrich Pond was productive again today. The Trumpeter Swans, along with all the Wigeons, Dunlins, and Black-bellied Plovers, and other waterfowl are still hanging out. Also, there were about 30 Snow Geese in the northwest fields and a I had a Cooper's Hawk fly over.
