Subject: [Tweeters] Townsend's Warbler at a hummingbird feeder

Hello Tweets,

???? My neighbor across the street in west Olympia has been feeding
hummingbirds for several years, but also a Townsend's Warbler.? She sent me a picture
of it, and indeed that's what it is.? She says it (or its friends?) have been
coming for 3 winters now.? I've got a copy of the picture if someone wants to
see it.

???? The type of hummingbird feeder that the Townsend's is using is just a
simple tube, placed on a slight incline.? This type allows easy access for
warbler beaks, as opposed to my window feeders that require the long, narrow beak
and tongue.?
