Dear Tweeters,
As I am recovering from surgery, it was a great day for me to stay home and watch birds from the window. I had 17 different species show up at the "bird buffet" in my yard. They were as follows:
Norther Flicker (male and female) 2
Townsend Warbler (male and female) 4
Ruby-crowned kinglet (M) 1
CB Chickadee (too many to count)
Junco (too many to count)
Housefinch (M, F) 6
Nuthatch (2)
Pine Siskin (I'm being invaded with siskins)
Bushtit (too many to count)
BC Chickadee (6)
Song Sparrow (2)
Golden crowned sparrow (juv) 4
Crow (1)
Spotted towhee (M) 2
Stellar jay (1)
Anna Hummingbird (1)
And the BIG surprise for the day is the White-Throated Sparrow came back!!
