Did anyone mention the Anna's hummingbirds that have been singing off and on all
winter.I have two that are pretty excited and sing all day long. but really kicked it into
high gear today.
I don't know if it's the weather , or the "sweet Olive" or Osmanthus delavayi,
that is just starting to bloom. the "fact " sheets say that it blooms in April. but mine
always starts in January. It is very fragrant and I saw them trying to get their beaks
into the unopened flowers - they don't want to wait for the flowers to fully openClarice
