Hi, I was able to get out with binos and scope and counted 157 Trumpeter Swans off in the Sumner fields I mentioned yesterday. I could not get the north field in full view, and believe there are more, but with private property lines and buildings etc, this is all I could count.If one backtracks on 74th after viewing from the 92nd St. area, following the road to the right, you encounter another dead end road, with an old sign Rhododendron Patch. If someone was interested in getting a better count and looking for leg banding, this might be a good spot. I did not enquire at this location, in case someone else that had more opportunity to take photos or wishing to check for banding, wished to do so. Further down Orting Highway near Spooner Farms I found 8 more, two families of 4 on either side of the highway, far out in the fields. Happy Birding to all,Vicki Biltz
