I am on the Olympic Peninsula (Port Ludlow,) and have had large numbers of Pine Siskins since the first week in December. The largest flock contained about 75 birds. I have also noticed a few listless, fluffy birds and am thinking that some may have salmonellosis, so I will probably take down my feeders tomorrow.

I also have a Cooper's Hawk that makes daily visits. Many Siskins have hit our windows. Several have recuperated in my recovery box, but four have died.
