Nat Drumheller from Alaska (currently living in Walla Walla) birded McNary
NWR and the Columbia River today - and found an amazing 17 Red-breasted
Mergansers north of the pulp mill - he took photos. This is the highest
number of these birds ever reported in this county that we know of.
At McNary he found Snow Goose, Greater White-fronted Goose and Tundra Swans
along with many other waterfowl.
Felt like spring here today - 60 degrees and sunny!
