Hi, I have coming on Monday a new Nikon scope, and also purchased a camera adapter that fits only the Coolpix P5000, or P5100. I know nothing about cameras. I do know the P5100 is the newer version, but in looking at the information and comparision of side by side pictures taked, I am thinking the P5000 is a better choice for digiscoping. Does anyone have any experience with these two cameras? As soon as the scope comes in, I will be ordering the camera.
