I'm a volunteer at the Seward Park Audubon Center and wanted to let people know about this upcoming program.

Want to become a certified MASTER URBAN NATURALIST ?

Through a series of hands-on trainings and workshops focused on the flora,
fauna, and natural history of Seward Park, the MASTER URBAN NATURALIST program
provides participants with an array of interpretive skills and scientific
knowledge.

Workshops

February 18 6:30pm-8:30pm Education & Interpretive Skills
March 7 8am-10am Birding in the Field
March 21 9am-11am Cultural History of Seward Park
March 28 6pm-8pm Owl Ecology
April 4 12pm-3pm Pacific Northwest Megafauna
April 8 6:30pm-8:30pm Education & Interpretive Skills
May 7 7pm-9pm Ornithology
May 16 9am-12pm Aquatic Ecology of Lake Washington
June 6 9am-12pm PNW Plant Identification
June 6 1pm-3pm Ethnobotany of Seward Park

Workshops are FREE for all registered Seward Park Audubon Volunteers.
Most workshops meet at the Seward Park Audubon Center and are $5 for
non-volunteers.

The Certificate Program is intended for registered Seward Park Audubon
volunteers and will be awarded upon completion of at least 12 hours of workshop trainings. Best of all, you get to pick and choose the trainings you wish to attend! Please let us know if you are interested in this option.
