Thanks Rolan! but, I think this may actually be a female adult. I did not realize that the female has this coloration. I have seen lots of harriers--but not one like this.
I am sure someone else will help me out on the identification. :>)
She was a cool catch just the same.

Well...I have sent this post twice before--and it has not shown up, I am taking one more chance here.Sorry is they actually all do show up. Not sure what is wrong. I have been recieving everyone elses today. One more time!

I have been up in the Skagit the last few days photographing birds.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of incountering a white morph harrier at the end of Rawlins Road. Thought you might be interested in seeing it. A beauty.
