Birders,

I have uploaded a few new bird photos from the last couple of months to my
Flickr page at http://www.flickr.com/photos/wcweber . This includes a few
regional rarities such as the BLUE JAY which is still hanging out on
Valentine Road near La Conner, WA and the NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD which was
present along the Boundary Bay dyke in Delta, BC for a couple of weeks in
December. I haven't had too much luck in getting bird photos since
mid-December, what with the huge snowfall in the Vancouver area (not all of
it has melted yet around my home) and the pea-soup fog of the last few days,
but hopefully the weather will improve soon.

I have also rearranged the photos in my main "Birds" gallery to be in
check-list order, so if any of you have not seen my photos of the Harts Pass
NORTHERN HAWK-OWL, the November TROPICAL KINGBIRD in Delta, or the line-up
of 16 EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVES on one telephone wire in Delta, they should be
easy to find.

I have no intention of trying to compete with such excellent bird
photographers as Paul Bannick, Khanh Tran, or Joseph Higbee, but like many
of you, I enjoy snapping a few bird photos whenever the opportunity arises,
and especially trying to document regional rarities when I get the chance.

Good luck and good birding,

Wayne C. Weber
