If, like me, you're alternately intrigued and frustrated by OWLS, consider taking an Owling Class with Jamie Acker, dedicated owling researcher and educator. I did and was impressed!

Jamie's multi-media presentation covers the 14 species of NW Owls providing many intriguing facts that will help you to understand, locate and identify these fascinating birds. Then he leads the group on an early morning owl prowl on Bainbridge Island!

Class: Saturday, January 24th, 1:00-4:00 PM
Location: CUH, Douglass Classroom
Field Trips: Sunday, January 25th or Saturday, January 31st.
Cost for lecture and field trip: $60 members, $75 nonmembers.
Cost for lecture only: $40 members, $55 nonmembers.
