The Great Gray Owl just outside of Colville was seen this afternoon at about 4:30pm. Clear and sunny skies delayed the appearance of this awesome owl today. It was located today along Valley Westside Road in the same area that it has been the past two days.

Also, in Stevens County, I found a Prairie Falcon just off Highway 395 on Farm to Market Road. This is just south of Chewelah.

In Spokane County, at the Confluence boat launch, there was a lone juvenile Trumpeter Swan. The water is starting to come back up in the river at the boat launch now after being low for some time.
