On Monday, five TRUMPETER SWANS were with the many Tundra Swans on Carty
Lake on the Carty Unit of Ridgefield NWR. Trumpeters are relatively unusual
here.

Also on Monday, 4 BARN SWALLOWS were at the River S Unit of Ridgefield NWR.
Presumably leftovers from what Will Clemons and Carol Ledford saw on the
weekend.

The dark morph HARLAN'S HAWK also made a brief appearance on Monday, and
there were several ROUGH-LEGGED HAWKS at the refuge.
