Hi, Tweets! I had a phone call about 8:00 a.m. that Victor and Libby
Glick saw a Hawk Owl in Douglas County, south/east of Bridgeport. My
husband and I saw it about one hour later. Another couple and I saw it
about ll:00 a.m. and Richard Hendrick and I saw it at 3:00 p.m. It is
about 9 miles from Bridgeport, on Hwy. 17. It was first seen just before
the Watson farm (mm 128) in a snag on the west side of the road. Next it
was found on a power pole in Watson's yard. The last 2 times it was
between mm 128 and 127 on a curve where there are two short power poles
and a pump house on the west side of the road.

Could this be the same bird seen last week closer to Bridgeport, but in
Ok. County??? Who knows. We are still having foggy days, but not so low
it is a prob. for driving in our part of the world. Meredith Spencer,
