As I was sitting at my kitchen window watching juncos take turns at
the bird bath, a female Townsend's warbler alit onto a naked Rosa
glauca branch about three feet away from me, just on the other side
of the glass. She posed for about five seconds and then went on her
way. Birding was never so easy.
