hi group ... I just put up a flimsy feeder during the holidays and
just now it's being discovered ... hanging from PVC pipe are:

peanut-butter suet block
small thistle sock
finch seed block

since the feeder was "discovered" this weekend I've had Bushtits
galore, Chestnut-backed and Black-capped Chickadees, Red-breasted
Nuthatch, Bewick's Wren, and Pine Siskins ... all but the Pine
Siskins seem to want the suet block ...

my question --- I've read that some of the Warblers will go to a Suet
block ... I wouldn't mind attracting them when they start arriving
... so, what type of Suet do they like ??? ... I noticed the Backyard
Bird store has quite a few choices ... they had one labeled for
"insect loving birds" ... would that be a good choice for Warblers ??? ...

thanks,
Lyn
