Greetings, all,

It took my scraping ice and braving less cooperative morning light on
the lake, and then a re-sorting of the birds by three river otters and a
low-flying Bald Eagle, to finally see a couple male REDHEADs and a
WESTERN MEADOWLARK at Seattle's Montlake Fill today (year birds). Three
immature TRUMPETER SWANs, some CANVASBACKs, and YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERs
are still about, as well.
