Yesterday Joe Engler and I saw what we both thought was a swamp sparrow. The bird was seen quickly and gone. This evening I returned and found the bird again and indeed we were correct it is a swamp sparrow. It was seen about 60-100 yds beyond the parkinglot at the end of Lower River Rd.
