?This foggy morning I found the American Tree Sparrow at Marymoor, it is a life lister for me. First I searched for it at the compost piles near the garden area, without success. I did find by accident just east of the G parking lot. It was hanging out with a flock of Golden-crowned Sparrows in a blackberry patch. I was immediately struck by the white wing bars and general pale color. It dived deep into the patch but finally came back up and gave me a great view. I saw the chest spot, crown and mottled shoulders. It contrasted greatly with the larger and darker Golden-crowned Sparrows.
