Russell Koppendrayer and I found the King Eider at the location previously
reported by Diana Moore and others. We found it within minutes of hitting
the beach at about 9 AM today. We had to search through a couple of rafts
of Scoters (Surf, White-winged and a couple of Black) to find it. The ski
was overcast at the time, but no fog.
