Dear Cromaat,

I have not heard of any Turkey Vulture nestings in Seattle, at least not in
the last 50 years or more.

They would appear to nest in King County as nearby as the Snoqualmie Valley.
So the source of the birds you saw is uncertain. They could have strayed
across the sound perhaps or be non-breeders.

I recently saw Turkey Vultures in Seattle several times, not acting like
they're migrating and it's not that time of year anyway.
Are any Turkey Vultures nesting in Seattle now?
