Subject: [Tweeters] Vashon Loons and Leasts
Date: Jul 7 21:03:26 2009

Today at Ellisport on Vashon Island were four Common Loons in winter plumage. We usually get one or two birds in late June or July but this is the most I've seen at one time.

Also, the shorebird migration began with a Gr. Yellowlegs at Dockton heard by Alan Huggins and Least Sandpipers that I saw at KVI Beach today.

Also, thanks to everyone who replied on the Schiphol birding ideas.
