Hi-

I'm elated after just spotting the (my) Western Scrub Jay pair I've seen
here for a year with nest material and nesting behavior. They wintered here
and have been active along an alley of dense shrub very close to the water
near Eastlake & Hamlin. Just saw them slowly make their way across the pea
patch, one obviously being the lookout, one carrying some type of leaf, then
finally going to the same spot in a tall shrub.
