Hi Tweets,

I visited Montlake Fill on Tuesday the made the trip to Everett to Forbes Road today (Thursday). It appears the Shorebird migration has started. At the Fill there were about a dozen Least Sandpipers on Shovelers Pond on Tuesday. On Thursday there were around 20, plus 3 Western Sandpipers enjoying the Central Pond mud. In Everett at Forbes road there were several dozen Least as well as Western Sandpipers in the expansive muddy areas. Also saw at least 5 Greater Yellowlegs and 2 Long/Short-billed Dowitchers (difficult for me to tell the difference).
