While riding the #33 across the Magnolia bridge in the direction of downtown, I was looking out toward Pier 91 (where trawlers are tied up now) when I looked down at a slow-down to notice a WILSON'S PHALAROPE. The bird was alone in the little lagoon-like pond right below the bridge and the northern end of the Pier 91 parking area. Definitely not an expected site or date for the species.
