Subject: [Tweeters] Llama Lake Abides (Dowitchers)

Just like the dude, Llama Lake continues to abide. Tonight I went down to
photograph some of the plants of the little shorebird trap in Sammamish,
and happily, there were six Long-billed Dowitchers stitching away on the
water's edge. Well, I'm assuming they were long-billed, but dowitchers in
any case. Nice to see. Haven't seen any other shorebirds this spring and
summer except killdeer and spotted sandpipers, but if the dowitchers are
there then perhaps conditions are good for some calidris or something.

"the birds have got to eat somewhere!"
