The Fledgings are definitely out! Activity has been steadily increasing and
the last two days I averaged 150 ounces of nectar per day. Activity was
definitely apparent while walking on the trail to Red Pass, so you are
likely to see / hear hummingbirds during certain portions of the day while
hiking in the Snoqualmie Pass Area.

Anyone wishing to check out the activity at my house, you are more than
welcome to do so. I think it will be fairly active the next 4-6 weeks or
so.

>From I-90 Exit #54, go towards the Hyak residential area (Summit East Ski
Area). At three way stop, go straight. Stay on this road as it curves to
the left and down a hill. As it curves to the right it will flatten out. I
am the third house on the right, 69 E Hyak Drive, Snoqualmie Pass.

You can easily view from the side of the road with binoculars, most activity
occurs on the left side of the house.

AS part of the Snoqualmie Pass Garden Tour, on August 9th, there will be a
hummingbird viewing event from 6:30 p.m. to dusk, RSVP requested, email to
me.
