The South Okanagan Naturalists' Club, together with the other 3 Okanagan Valley Naturalist's Clubs, has just published a 32 page full colour guide to finding Birds in the Okanagan Valley of BC. The Okangan Valley has more than 200 breeding species of birds and more than 300 species possible.
The guide is available for $5.00 plus postage & handling. American residents will probably find it easiest to purchase from the Seattle Audubon Nature Shop while Canadians can purchase the guide from the South Okanagan Naturalists' Club or one of the other Valley Naturalists' Clubs.
