Hello Tweeters,
It was a long drive for going to see the Stint in Ocean Shores,It took me
for ever to get out of Tacoma, the traffic was terrible.I left here at 1.15
PM and arrived at the Sewage Pond at
3.45Pm.I saw 3 birders already standing, but coming closer only 2 birder saw
the Stint earlier, with out Greg,I been running in to him many times in the
field. So we had 35 minutes left for this Stint show his face, since The
Sewage Pond going to be close at 4.30.all the Western that he was with
standing on the Rocks sleeping with there head tucked in.But a miracle
happen,all birds
start slowly moving around. It took some sharp eye to pick this little stint
out from all the other peeps.Me and Greg was taken picture after
picture, remember the Temminck's Stint Patrick found, who all birders had
close looks. This reminded me when I took the photos. It was easy if you kept
you eye on this bird. There where 5 more birders in the end,all was seeing
the STINT.I saw and photographed the Red-necked ,and the Little Stint in
Washington, non photos can measure up to this photos what I took today.
A BIG CONGRATULATION on this great find for BRAD WAGGONER.And also a BIG
THANK YOU for calling it in to
Ian Paulson ,who put this bird on to Tweeters.
