Hi Tweeters,

Some shorebird numbers from yesterday morning (with Bob Flores - 6:15-8:30)
and this morning (6:15-7:15) at Rest Lake at Ridgefield NWR in Clark County:

Long-billed Dowitcher 144 - 168
Greater Yellowlegs 40 - 38
Lesser Yellowlegs 1-3
SOLITARY SANDPIPER 0 - 1 possibly 2 (1 at extreme south end and another at
the north end)
Semipalmated Plover 3 - 0
Semipalmated Sandpiper 1-1
Least Sandpiper 30+ - 18
Western Sandpiper 35+ - 15
Wilson's Snipe 1-1
Killdeer 30ish - 30ish

It was a season high count of dowitchers for me this morning at this
location. The departure of the Semipalmated Plovers and arrival of Solitary
Sandpiper(s) shows constant change in numbers and species each day. Still
looking for that first vagrant!
