Are there variations of color in a Pileated woodpecker that could
match my woodpeckers?
My bird had a head and neck like a Pileated Woodpecker, but overall
coloring were different than that of a Pileated.

White undertail coverts

Orange breast

Long thin beak

Grey/Black wings, back and head

Crest like a Pileated Woodpecker Grey/Black

Size of a crow.

Drinks and throws his head back with each sip and waits.

Flew tree to tree

In a forested area near a river.
